This Western Cartridge Company manufactured yellow, blue and red cardboard box contains all 50 rounds of Super-X extra clean wax coated 22 LR ammunition with nickel cases and copper washed, hollow point bullets and is in near excellent condition with light shelf wear. The product code "K1226R" is printed on the front panel. The bottom of the box displays six patent numbers and the address line reading "WESTERN CARTRIDGE CO., East Alton, Ill., U.S.A.". This box displays thumb cuts on both ends of the box and the end flaps read "RANGE / 1 Mile / Be Careful". The nickel casings display the "SU-1" headstamp.

Date of Manufacture: This style box was introduced in 1942 and was produced until 1946.

Note: This box is similar to the Huegel # WCC-6D LR-10(a) variation. The differences observed are that this box displays blue printing as opposed to black and the bottom of the box does not match Huegel's sample photo due to slightly different wording.

This box is LRHP-15 in Huegel's Super-X Checklist.
